In 2013, both of them are already in the university.  As young adults, they sought for their own dreams at their own pace, in their own tracks as they parted ways in good terms. Eventually, they both earned their bachelor’s degrees and determined their career paths.  Ann Gelyn moved overseas while Kyle stayed in the Philippines. A holiday greeting reconnected them in December 2022.  This led to more frequent communication and the discovery of shared interests in playing and trading NFTs.  They kept in touch as good friends but never crossed the line of bringing up their past. A few months passed and a month before Ann Gelyn’s birthday, Kyle came to know that she plans to spend her vacation in the Philippines to celebrate her birthday with family and friends. Kyle’s feelings for Ann Gelyn reignited, but he hesitated to express them fully, fearing the consequences.  Ann Gelyn’s family and friends were surprised to see that Kyle was invited in the celebration.  Her friends and Kyle bonded as if he never left the circle but of course with few interrogating questions. He wanted to shoot his shot, but felt like walking on thin ice, afraid to cross the line.  But still he found courage and managed to arranged a friendly date with her at the shooting range and a rooftop dinner during her stay. A month later, Kyle took a leap of faith and surprise Ann Gelyn with a visit to Qatar, booking a ticket even before securing a visa to prove his sincerity without assurance of the outcome.  Meanwhile, Ann Gelyn had been praying for a sign of genuine effort and commitment from the Right One.  Only then would she be willing to take chances on love again. Against the odds, Kyle successfully made it to Qatar.  They reunited as a couple, but this time with a newfound understanding of their past and commitment to build a better relationship.  They had matured and grown wiser, striving to be the best versions of themselves and loving each other more deeply than ever. They started off having opposite interests and different social circles in the beginning, fell in love and eventually grew apart, yet they were drawn back to each other again by common interests and by the loved ones surrounding them. It is quiet peculiar how everything felt like, “This time, the time is right” and “Everything just falls to its right place.  It is true that if two hearts are meant to be together, fate will bring them together. It was when James Kyle visited Qatar when he expressed to Ann Gelyn's parents his intention to marry her sooner and asked for their blessing.
